Discover Bonassola throughout the year, a village always ready to give you the unique pleasure of relaxing in an hospitable nature, remarkable for its ever-mild climate.
Always worth a visit (no matter if it is a long vacation or just a winter weekend), Bonassola invites you to experience and get acquainted with its multifaceted charms, among which the local sea strand holds a first-rate place.
The high coast of Eastern Liguria is occasionally broken by small beaches. Among them, one of the most attractive is the aforementioned Bonassola strand, whose extremities are closed by two rocky capes, called respectively Punta del Carlino" and Madonnina della Punta. These bush-covered headlands delimit a small inlet at the end of which there opens up a sandy ledge.
The village of Bonassola stretches down to the beach, over a narrow tongue of flat land in the lee of the first mountain-spurs in its immediate surroundings (Ligurian Appennin).
This attractive resort, well known and appreciated because of a crystal clear sea, nestled at the foot of overhanging mountains, lays on a restricted coast-highland boundary, vaunting thus the merits of a refuge luckily cut off from nowadays stress - its inhabitants have been wise enough to keep to old-time tradition and calm routines instead of giving place for modern concerns
